Hello Friends & Family!

If you're on this page, it means we want you to celebrate 13 years of our love with us as we finally tie the knot on June 13, 2026. Who says 13 is an unlucky number? In numerology, 13 represents transformation, evolution, and new beginnings, symbolizing the process of leaving the past behind to embark on a new journey.

More details to come, but we are excited for you to join us in Milwaukee Friday evening for a welcoming party and Saturday evening at The Chef's Table for a four-course tasting menu that we hope highlights both our love of food and each other.

Our Story

The year is 2013, and Allison is living in Orlando working for The Mouse, while Eric has just secured his first big-boy job at Raymond James as a Software Engineer. During this time, Allison's long-time friend Ashley would visit Florida several times a year, and they would often embark on random adventures during these visits. Many of these adventures included visiting Clearwater Beach, the superior coast for beaching. It was there, in a touristy crab shack on a weeknight, that Allison first met Eric. Just an hour later at The Brown Boxer, they both discovered their mutual love of music and the band Incubus. After that, Eric regularly sent music to Allison's Spotify inbox (well, until they discontinued the inbox- curse you, Spotify!).

They lived an hour and a half apart, and though they had a lot in common and always had great times together, the distance was a bit of an issue. Eventually, Eric got a new job and moved away to Tennessee and St. Louis, but they never lost touch. As fate would have it, they ended up an hour and a half apart yet again in 2017 when Eric moved to Chicago and Allison moved back to Milwaukee. In no time, they were alternating weekend visits every week, exploring their Midwest cities, making memories, and creating a life together. In 2020, Eric and Allison settled in Milwaukee with their cat, Penny Lane, and started their local food blog, BestDishMKE, which allowed them to really explore everything Milwaukee has to offer.

We are excited to share our city with you this weekend and hope you love it as much as we do! Please RSVP as soon as you are able, and let us know if you are interested in a hotel block.
