While engaged, Allison and Eric have spent their time at Duke together. Allison has been getting her MBA at Fuqua School of Business and Eric has been finishing his PhD. Living in Durham with Huxley will always be a special chapter in their life together.

While on a road trip to explore the Olympic Peninsula, Eric surprised Allison with a ring and a big question at their first stop: a beach along the Strait of Juan de Fuca. For four generations, "The Cove” has been a beloved annual retreat for Eric’s family; now it has special meaning to Allison too.
